GOOGLE TRANSLATE

Google Translate is a great way to translate from any language to another language!

​

Let's say you have relatives in Italy and you don't speak Italian but would like to send them an email or a letter in Italian....you can use Google Translate to do this!  Its a great tool and a lot of fun as well.....give it a try!!

1 - In your search engine (Chrome, Bing, Edge, etc.) type in the search bar "google translate".

​

2 - You will then see the "translate" dialog boxes displayed.

​

3 - On the left side, select the language you are typing, such as English.

​

4 - On the right side, select the language you want it to translate to, such as Italian, Spanish, French etc.

​

5 - As you type "English" on the left side, on the right side it will automatically display the translation along with all the appropriate punctuations and nuances of that particular language.

​

6 - If you wish to copy the translation, highlight the set and then choose "copy", open your email program and create a new email; then click on the body of the email it will display "paste", choose paste and it will display the text in the language you just translated!

7 - If you wish to send an actual "letter" (snail mail), do the same thing, open the word program and click on the body of the document and choose "paste"; it will then display on the screen; print out the letter and it's ready to send!

​

This is a wonderful way to communicate with family and friends in another country!
